Pierce looks to return to victory lane during Wayne Anderson Cup
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 8, 2021) – Racing kicks off this week at River Cities Speedway with a rare Thursday night special. The Bullring is hosting the inaugural Wayne Anderson Cup Northern Outlaw Sprint Association (NOSA) Sprint Car mini series with rounds one and two being tonight and Friday.
Increased payouts will be up for grabs throughout the four races with a hefty point fund available on the Sept. 10th finale.
Pierce was in action last Friday night where he raced to a third place finish. The driver of the Opp Construction / Lithia Ford No. 2A ran as high as second, but after falling back to third, changing track conditions made passing a premium.
The third place run was Pierce’s sixth top five through nine events.
Coming into tonight’s event, Pierce is on a streak of three consecutive podium finishes, including a win on June 11th.
Pierce now shares the River Cities Speedway Sprint Car points lead with a hard-charging Jade Hastings as of late. Both drivers have three wins on the season.
The entire APR crew would like to thank their sponsors for their continued support!
