GRAND FORKS, N.D. (August 27, 2021) – The final drive to Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA series title number 11 for Wade Nygaard and the No. 9N Auto Finance Super Center / Northland Custom Woodworking team starts this weekend in South Dakota.

The weekend was scheduled to start tonight at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, where Nygaard finished fourth with the series during its previous visit in 2018, but rain has canceled the event.

The series will return to Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD on Saturday, where Nygaard was also the fourth place finisher in 2018.

On Sunday night, Nygaard will conclude his weekend with NOSA at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, SD.

In the past few weeks, Nygaard has scored a third place run at Buffalo River Speedway, followed up with a runner-up performance at River Cities two weeks ago.

Nygaard’s last two races were with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo on Saturday night, and at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Wednesday night. Nygaard finished 23rd and 17th respectively at those shows.

On Saturday at Red River Valley Speedway, a promising run in the feature was cut short on lap one when Nygaard was collected by a spinning car.

Heading into the weekend in South Dakota, Nygaard holds an 18 point lead over his teammate Brenden Mullen. One victory, 18 top fives, and 23 top tens with the series have him atop the standings.
