By Spieker Promotions

PORTLAND, N.D. (August 27, 2021) – Jason Strand continued his successful rookie season behind the wheel of the No. E85 North Dakota Corn Growers Association / Precision Electric, Plumbing, and HVAC Millenium SRT on Wednesday night with another top ten in NLRA competition at River Cities Speedway.

Strand kicked off his night with a third place run in his heat race, setting up an 11th place start in the 25 lap main event.

Strand was in and around the top ten to start the race, but fell back to as low as 14th by the halfway point.

Following a caution with seven laps left, Strand restarted in the eleventh spot, and ripped around the cushion, making three passes in the following five laps.

One final pass on Bryce Sward on the final lap saw Strand finish the race in the seventh position.

Strand was also in action last Saturday night at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo. Strand received a poor draw to start the night, causing him to have to climb from eighth to fifth in his heat race.

Strand started deep in the field for the 25 lap main event, as he rolled off 19th. Strand made up five spots, as the final 20 laps went caution-free, ending the race in 14th.

Strand will continue his season tonight at River Cities for more weekly Late Model action.
