Schatz heads to PA as Outlaws’ schedule resumes

FARGO, N.D. (March 17, 2023) – After a pair of cancellations last weekend, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series season gets back underway this weekend in Pennslyvania against the PA Posse.

Coming off strong runs at Volusia Speedway Park in the most recent Outlaw event, Donny Schatz and his Tony Stewart / Curb-Agajanian Racing crew will be looking to carry that momentum into this weekend’s events and make a climb up in the point standings.

Schatz currently sits eighth in the standings, 72 markers out of the lead. The 10-time series champion jumped up 10 spots in the points after collecting two top five finishes and a KSE Hard Charger award at Volusia during the Spring Showdown.

First up this weekend will be Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Schatz has enjoyed a lot of success at the historic half-mile over his career, racking up 21 career wins including six National Open titles.

The series heads to Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday to close out the weekend. Schatz has one win at the three-eighths mile oval, which came back in 2016. The Outlaws have raced at Lincoln consecutively since 2012 and over that period, Schatz has a strong average finish of 6.8.

Both nights of action will be broadcast live on DIRTVision.com.

Schatz and the entire Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing team would like to thank all of their great partners for their continued support!
