MULLEN SET TO RESUME SEASON THIS WEEKEND AT PAIR OF OPENERS
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 15, 2023) – Out of the seat since a rollover at the High Limit Sprint Series event at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS, Brendan Mullen, driver of the Native Nations Cannabis / Royal River Casino No. 11M is set to resume his 2023 campaign Friday night River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND.
The 2021 opening night winner at the quarter-mile bullring, scored a victory at the Speedway during the Wayne Anderson Cup finale last September. During his 14 appearances at the track last season, 8 nights saw finishes inside the top five, nine of which were also top tens.
Mullen’s season will continue on Sunday night at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, SD. Following his first season as a regular competitor at the nearly three-tenths mile oval last season, Mullen will look to build on his efforts last year that produced three top fives there last year.
So far in 2023, Mullen has raced ten times, scoring two top fives. Those came during the Malvern Bank 360 Sprint events at Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, Iowa. His best outing was on night two of the event, finishing third.
Mullen kicked off this year’s campaign during the World of Outlaws opening weekend at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. The team was also part of the penultimate Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, FL.
