MULLEN SET FOR HIGH BANK NATIONALS AFTER TOP 10 AT HUSET’S

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 20, 2023) – Brendan Mullen, driver of the Native Nations Cannabis / Royal River Casino & Hotel No. 11M, scored another top ten at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, SD in their final race at the track leading into this week’s $250,000-to-win High Bank Nationals with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.

Mullen’s best result during last weekend’s action came at Huset’s, where he started the night with the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group, and second in his heat race.

Making the feature redraw, Mullen re-drew the three pill, setting up a starting spot on the inside of the second row.

Mullen started the race by battling with Mark Dobmeier for the fourth spot before a red flag stopped the race on lap eight.

On the restart, Mullen lost a spot, but remained just outside the top five in sixth until the closing laps of the race. Mullen ended the race in eighth after a green-white-checkered finish at the end of the race.

Mullen kicked off the weekend at the Border Battle at Minnesota’s Jackson Motorplex, where he was ninth quick and fourth in his heat race. Starting eleventh in the 25 lap feature, Mullen fell back early, but remained 15th for most of the race, including as the checkers flew.

Mullen also got some more laps at Iowa’s famous Knoxville Raceway on Saturday night, but retired from the event early after blowing a motor while running 3rd in his heat.

This week, the team returns to Huset’s for the High Bank Nationals, where 58 cars are currently entered for the quarter-million-to-win event.
