Kennedy Gears Up For Knoxville Doubleheader this Weekend

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (June 14, 2019) – Thomas Kennedy and the Kennedy Floorings / Buffalo Wild Wings / Big Trucks by Jimco team head back to the Sprint Car Capital of the World this weekend for a pair of events. The action kicks off tonight as Kennedy will compete with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa.
Kennedy and his father, Lou, will swap motors on Saturday to compete in the 360 division.
In two 360 starts at Knoxville this year, Kennedy has two top-five finishes, including one podium. In his most recent visit to the famed half-mile, Kennedy finished fifth in the main event.
Kennedy has also been fast at Jackson Motorplex the past few weeks. The Winnipeg driver nearly picked off a Midwest Power Series win on May 31st before taking the checkers in the third position. Last week, Kennedy drove from 15th to eighth on a track surface that took rubber in the feature.
