Mullen looks to back up last weekend’s strong run at I-90 Speedway
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 5, 2020) – A doubleheader weekend is on tap for Brendan Mullen and the CL Linfoot No. 11M team. Mullen will be competing at his home track, River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, tonight with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints.
On Saturday, the team will throw a 360 motor in the car and will head to Hartford, S.D. to race with the MSTS Sprints at I-90 Speedway. Mullen paid his first-ever visit to I-90 Speedway last weekend and came away with his best finish of the season.
Following a convincing heat race win, where he started on the pole and won by over 2.5 second, Mullen started on the outside of the front row for the main event. Mixing it up with some of the best 360 drivers the Midwest has to offer, Mullen came away with a strong sixth-place finish by the end of the 25-lap main event.
Tonight’s races at River Cities Speedway begin with NOSA time trials at 6:30pm, followed by racing at 7:00pm.
Mullen made 13 starts at River Cities in 2019. His best finishes came in the final two weeks of the season where he collected a seventh-place finish on August 30th and followed that up with a sixth-place run on September 6th.
