HUTTON & THOMAS SR. RECORD NLSA WINS!

(June 21, 2017) – Brody Hutton led all 20 laps en route to the victory Saturday night at Greenbush Race Park.
With a stout field of 15 NLSA Lightning Sprints making up the field, Hutton jumped to the lead from his outside front row starting position.

Alan Truscinski and Kelsi Pederson ran in second and third, respectively, before the No. 22 of Brandon Johnson made his way by both drivers at the halfway point.

The Holt, Minnesota driver set his sights on Hutton, but Hutton was too strong as he cruised to his first victory of the year by just over one-tenth of a second.

Kevin Thomas Sr. picked up the win Sunday night at Buffalo River Race Park.

Josh Abrahamson grabbed the lead on the opening lap from the fourth starting position. The Moorhead, Minnesota driver had his hands full with Presley Truedson in the early going as the two raced for the lead.

Abrahamson led the field until lap 10 when his No. 16 machine began to slow. On that same lap, Thomas Sr. found a way around Truedson to take the runner-up spot. Thomas Sr. inherited the lead shortly thereafter as Abrahamson coasted around the top side of the speedway.

The caution was displayed on lap 12 as a result of Abrahamson, which put Truedson and Roland Bernard on the rear bumper of Thomas Sr.

The veteran driver hailing from Cullman, Ala. held off both Truedson and Bernard on the restart before cruising out to a comfortable lead.

Thomas Sr.’s win marked his third of the year at BRRP.
