GRAND FORKS, N.D. (August 20, 2020) – Four-time and defending NLRA Late Model champion, Brad Seng, is looking ahead to this weekend’s three-race swing. Although missing an NLRA event earlier this season, Seng still sits third in the series standings 124 markers behind Dustin Strand.
Seng will be looking to close that gap, starting tonight at Norman County Raceway in Ada, Minn., as a lot of points will be up for grabs.

Seng has three career feature wins at Norman County with the most recent coming in 2016. At the NLRA’s last visit to NCR on July 30th, Seng finished second to Strand.

On Friday, the tour heads to River Cities Speedway to co-headline the night with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars. No stranger to victory lane at the Bullring, Seng has collected five NLRA wins at River Cities and has three wins there thus far in 2020, one of which was an NLRA triumph on July 31st.

On Saturday, the busy weekend wraps up with a visit to Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, N.D. Seng scored a pair of wins at the high-banked quarter-mile in 2002 and 2003, but went winless at the speedway until his most recent win in 2014.

Last weekend, River Cities Speedway rained out, leaving Saturday’s NLRA event at Greenbush Race Park as the only event on the schedule for the S&S Transport team.

After picking up his fourth heat win in the last five races, Seng rolled off third on the grid for the 25-lapper. Seng was battling with pole-sitter Ryan Corbett on the opening lap when the two made contact, sending Seng spinning and to the tail of the field.

Seng restarted 17th on the grid but quickly worked his way back into the top five by lap 17. Seng’s charge forward continued in the waning laps as he moved up to the second spot with five to go. The driver of the No. 12S closed back in on Corbett, but wasn’t able to become a serious challenge as he had to settle for a runner-up finish.
