Jordan Adams records season-best finish at River Cities

REYNOLDS, N.D. (June 30, 2020) – It was a night and day difference for Jordan Adams last Friday night at River Cities Speedway, compared to the first three weeks of action at the Bullring.
Adams raced to his first top-five finish of the season, thanks to a much better handling No. 20A machine.
“Friday was a small win for us. It felt great to be back up in the mix of things again. At the end of the feature, we were consistently one of the fastest cars on the track which is ideally what you want,” said Adams, who actually was the fastest driver on the final lap of the race. “We pulled out a different car and rolled with that Friday. It seemed to handle better than we have been running with previous weeks so we will keep adjusting on that car and see what we can get accomplished.”
Adams started the night by finishing third in his heat, which put him sixth on the grid for the 25-lap main event. After falling back a few spots in the early going, Adams found his groove and rallied back towards the front.
At the checkers, Adams crossed the line in fifth – marking his first top-five of the season.
Up next, the driver of the Home of Economy / Aflac Insurance – Mallory Britton No. 20A will head back to his home track, River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks.
“I’m ready to get back to work Friday,” said an excited Adams. “We aren’t exactly where we need to be yet but we took two steps forward this week so hopefully we can keep the momentum going.”
